In February 2001 SOULHEAVEN was launched to great excitement at the Ministry Of Sound in London. Over the last 8 years SOULHEAVEN has gone from strength to strength with events and productions all over the World and has helped push back the boundaries of dance and club music. The international roster is established with house music pioneers LOUIE VEGA, KENNY DOPE, SPEN, KARIZMA, BLAZE, TERRY HUNTER & UK residents such as PHIL ASHER, AARON ROSS, BOPSTAR, ANDY WARD, NEIL PIERCE & RUDEBOY RUPERT.

Soul Heaven Records
Launched in 2006 with the intention to bring the sound of their events to a wider audience Soul Heaven records was born. The labels intentions were to work with fresh talent and established producers to further strengthen the Soul Heaven DJ roster.
Events can be done under the Soul Heaven Records alias which feature any of its signed artists or can co-inside with the release of new singles.
Soul Heaven Record’s close association with DJ download site Traxsource has ensured its artists maximum exposure for all their releases. Along with this it promotes their artists and further strengthens the Soul Heaven brand aswell as making the Soul Heaven sound available for all to hear.

Aaron Ross (Fanatix, UK)
Radio 1Xtra DJ for 5 years, A&R Director at Defected, Strictly Rhythm, Virgin records and a Soul Heaven resident, Aaron Ross has certainly conquered the world of house music across the globe and is now recognised as one of the worlds most renowned DJs.
Inspired by close friend Giles Peterson and mentored by Phil Asher, Aaron began producing with Neil Pierce under the alias of the Fanatix. Their single ‘Love Connection’ proved to be a dancefloor thriller which then made way for their album ‘This Thing of Ours.’ But he didn’t stop there. Aaron went on to remix and produce for the likes of Jamiroquai, Mr. Hudson. Estelle and Terri Walker to name but a few.
During his time at Radio 1Xtra he regularly shares spots with legendary DJs Pete Tong and Roger Sanchez. Aaron naturally sees this as the next step in his burgeoning broadcast career. “It’s served it’s purpose, in a selfish way I don’t think I can get much more out of it... House is having a second wind and I don’t play one sound, I’ll go in different directions, which I think is interesting for the listeners”.
You can also catch Aaron twice a year at Deep in LA. Then there are the annual trips to Brazil and tours of Asia! It’s also his passion for the dark that helped secure his job as A&R Manager at Defected. “DJing is an essential part of A&R, it’s where I road test a lot of tunes. I signed Yass to Defected and have signed some bits for Strictly Rhythm, on more of an old skool tip. I definitely aspire to people like Simon Dunmore or Pete Tong, they’re still hungry for music, even though they’re in their 40s. It’s really important to have that and not just do it for the moment.”

Tai Pan Dan
Music Style: House (Deep/Funky/Soulful/Uplifting)
Dan is a DJ out of pure passion. Born and raised in London he has always been deeply immersed in a variety of music styles, but his love for House music, Disco and Soul has always prevailed.
Whilst in London Dan made regular appearances at some of capital’s greats including Fabric, Pacha, The Cross, The End, Nylon and Sugar Reef. Along with working in London’s largest nightclubs he made appearances at exclusive private events in venues such as The Royal Albert Hall, The Royal Society of Arts, Grosvenor House and Noble Rot.
After leaving London, he made a solid coverage of Sydney and is now based in Hong Kong where he has put his 8 years of experience into good use playing at Ministry of Sound and Hed Kandi events along-side Pete Gooding, David Dunne and Jim Breese in his first year alone. Being on the line up for Hed Kandi and Ministry of sound wasn’t quite enough and so Dan founded “Opium Soul” with fellow DJ Arun R. A night of soulful and deep house music and the pair have taken the promotion to new levels with electrifying nights at prominent venues in Hong Kong.
Now a Soul Heaven representative for Hong Kong and on the line up for regular appearances at “Pure House” in Beijing Club the coming year is looking familiarly busy. “There are simply not enough weekends in the year!”
Along with all this you can find Dan spinning at Hong Kong’s most prestigious venues such as FINDS, Armani Bar, Beijing Club and Zuma.

Arun R
Music Style: House (Deep/Afro/Jackin’/Soulful/Uplifting)
The early career stages have taken off well for Arun, making an influential name in Hong Kong, and building up a reputation for playing upfront and quality house music. His style has developed into what is highly sought after by prestigious venues in the city – he is able to take his crowds through journeys of Afro-Latin influenced grooves to a peak of deep and melodic progressions, all framed by jackin’ beats and basslines.
Known to create a live and vibrant atmosphere with his music, it doesn’t matter whether Arun plays at a club, lounge or open-air gig; he is always able to personify his musical presence with an audience, bringing out the essential groove in anyone.
From 2007 onwards, Arun started to travel around China performing at venues in Zhongshan, Jinan, Guangzhou, Shanghai, as well as being invited to play at Elevate (India), voted 35th best club in the world by DJ Magazine. He has graced the decks for prestigious events like Soul Heaven, Hed Kandi, Ministry of Sound Sessions, Renaissance Digital Asia Tour and Funky 4 Love, and has the opportunity to play alongside international DJs such as Paolo Mojo, Alex Botar (Diva La Disco), Andy Warburton, Luke Neville, Dennis Christopher (Beatfreakz), Dylan Barnes (Mutiny), Andy Norman, Patrick Hagenaar, Lewis Boardman, Charles Schillings, Sandy Rivera, Bodyrox (Nick), Bopstar, Ko Kimura, ATFC and voted no.1 DJ in the world - Tiesto. Arun has earned appraisal from some of the above names as ‘the perfect warm-up DJ’.
He has been invited to play at most key venues in the city, including internationally renowned M1NT, Drop, Solas, Volar, W Hotel, Home and the trendy Evisu Baru. Other events include performing for an Andy Warhol Exhibition, 42 Below Vodka and Tequila Patron’s party. 2008 has been a busy one for Arun working with Entertaining Asia as an Artist and Events Manager, looking after a DJ roster and handling events, bookings and venue music policies during the day. 2009 started with an appearance at Q Bar (Bangkok), at the Edition Festival with Sandy Rivera and Bodyrox, while the rest of the year is looking to be a busy one as he launches a private members club and his own label ‘Digital Circus’.
